Bottle Study

Goal: The goal for this project was to study both dark and light field lighting on different glass bottles.

Challenge(s): Creating compositions that let each lighting style show the glass bottle shapes, reflectivity, translucence, and texture.

Solution: The setup for both lighting styles is straightforward with minimal number of modifiers used to create a variety of compositions. Multiple bottles in each composition allowed the light to interact with the glass and present differently. Some images are similar in make up to show the difference in the lighting techniques.

Result: Several photographs showing the light from two different lighting styles on several different compositions of the same set of bottles. The photographs can be used for social media, menus, cards, wall displays, food service organizations, and more.
