Necklace Ad Mock Up

Goal: Design and create advertisement mockups providing a variety of ideas for the same subject for review before going to final production. This will save time and cost by giving a team the ability to visualize options before going to final hard copy print or pushing to various media.

Challenge(s): Designing a variety of images that all communicate the client message of luxury, desirability, and elegance. Provide images that allow for placement of title, description, pricing, barcode, store name and contact info, and other text. Deliver images that can be used as color or black and white.

Solution: Multiple lighting setups were used for these photographs. Each needs to show the softness of the necklace, but some need to accentuate the stone background while another needs to illuminate satin fabric. Those background textures are very different and require different lighting solutions. A variety of strobes, soft boxes, grids, reflectors, diffusers, and snoots were used to accomplish the look and feel shown in the set.

Result: High quality photographs that deliver the client messaging of luxury, desirability, and elegance that can be used in color or black and white scenarios. Each image allows room for any campaign text while allowing the focus to remain clearly on the subject. Various color schemes are shown to provide flexibility in different themes. The photographs can be used for social media, menus, cards, wall displays, flyers, mailings, store handouts, and more.
